Safety Alert – Vehicle Collision
INCIDENT:
A serious accident had occurred within a mining operational site when an articulated haul
truck (AHT) collided into a moving light vehicle (LV). The AHT was enroute to its destination
for the first load after lunch break. While travelling the AHT collided with the rear end of a
moving LV, which was also travelling ahead of the AHT in the same direction.
