Safety Alert – Bell Articulated Mine Haul Truck Fire
INCIDENT:
A mine’s articulated haul truck caught fire whilst travelling with load along the haul road of the mine. The operator attempted to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher, but the fire overpowered and engulfed the truck.
The truck operator and other persons at risk of fire were safely evacuated
