PM officially closes GEE Conference 2024

PORT MORESBY: Prime Minister Hon James Marape, officially closed the Geoscience, Exploration and Extraction Conference 2024, on Friday August 9.

The event closing was witnessed by conference participants, presenters, sponsors, mining industry leaders, service providers, exhibitors and UPNG geology students, who packed the room to listen to the PM.

Over 350 delegates attended the three-days (Aug7-9) conference while thousands nation wide and from abroad watched via facebook live stream.

The PM congratulated the Mineral Resources Authority’s (MRA) and the conference organising committee, for successfully staging the conference.
